Ebonyi State University Abakaliki Cut off Mark 2023/2024 Academic Session

Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has released its cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The general cut-off mark for all courses is 140. However, some courses have higher departmental cut-off marks, as shown in the table below.

Direct Entry Cut-off Mark

The direct entry cut-off mark for EBSU is 180.

Candidates eligible for admission into EBSU are those who:

• Have a score of 140 or above in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or a score of 180 or above in the Direct Entry (DE) Examination.
• Have at least five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
• Must have chosen EBSU as their first choice of institution during the UTME registration.

How to Apply for Admission into EBSU

To apply for admission into EBSU, candidates should follow the following steps:

1. Visit the EBSU website and click on the “Undergraduate Admission” tab.
2. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
3. Create an account by providing your email address and password.
4. Login to your account and complete the online application form.
5. Make payment of the application fee.
6. Submit your application form.

Admission Screening

All candidates who meet the requirements for admission into EBSU will be invited for admission screening. The screening exercise will consist of a written test and an oral interview.

EBSU Admission List

The EBSU admission list will be released on the university’s website after the admission screening exercise has been concluded.

The EBSU cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 140. However, some courses have higher departmental cut-off marks. Candidates are advised to check the departmental cut-off marks for their desired courses before applying for admission into EBSU.
