IMSU Cut Off Mark 2023/2024

The Imo State University (IMSU) has released its cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 academic session. The cut-off marks are the minimum JAMB scores that candidates must have to be eligible for admission into the university.

JAMB Cut Off Mark

The general JAMB cut-off mark for IMSU is 160. However, some courses have higher cut-off marks. The departmental cut-off marks are as follows:

  • Accounting: 180
  • Banking and Finance: 180
  • Business Administration: 170
  • Computer Science: 180
  • Economics: 180
  • English Language: 170
  • History and International Studies: 160
  • Law: 200
  • Mass Communication: 170
  • Political Science: 160
  • Public Administration: 160
  • Sociology: 160

O’Level Requirements

In addition to the JAMB cut-off mark, candidates must also have at least five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. The specific O’level requirements for each course can be found on the IMSU website.

How to Apply

To apply for admission to IMSU, candidates must visit the university’s admission portal and complete the online application form. Candidates must also upload all required documents, including their JAMB result slip, O’level results, and birth certificate.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is yet to be announced. However, it is advisable to apply early to avoid any last-minute rush.
