The Benue State University (BMU) has released the cut off marks for the 2023/2024 academic session. The cut off marks are the minimum UTME scores that candidates must obtain to be eligible for admission into the university.
UTME Cut Off Marks
The UTME cut off marks for BMU are as follows:
- Most Competitive Courses: 180
- Competitive Courses: 160
- Less Competitive Courses: 140
Departmental Cut Off Marks
In addition to the UTME cut off marks, each department in BMU has its own departmental cut off marks. These cut off marks are higher than the UTME cut off marks and are used to select the best candidates for each department.
Candidates who meet the UTME cut off mark but do not meet the departmental cut off mark for their chosen course will be considered for admission into other courses that they are qualified for.
How to Check Your Cut Off Mark
Candidates can check their cut off marks on the BMU website. To do this, candidates will need to enter their UTME registration number.
