NOUN Cut-Off Mark for 2023/2024

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has announced a cut-off mark of 140 for the 2023/2024 academic session. This means that candidates who scored 140 or above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for admission into NOUN.

However, it is important to note that the NOUN cut-off mark is just the minimum requirement for admission. Individual departments and faculties may have their own cut-off marks, which may be higher than the general cut-off mark. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the specific cut-off marks for their desired courses of study before applying.

In addition to the UTME score, candidates for admission into NOUN must also meet the following requirements:

  • Possess five (5) O’level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.
  • Submit all required application documents, including a completed application form, UTME result slip, and O’level result certificate.

How to Apply for Admission into NOUN

To apply for admission into NOUN, candidates must create an account on the NOUN website and complete the online application form. The application form requires candidates to provide their personal information, academic qualifications, and contact details. Candidates must also upload the required application documents to their online account.

After submitting the application form, candidates will be required to pay an application fee. The application fee can be paid online or at any designated NOUN study center.

Admission Process at NOUN

Once candidates have submitted their applications and paid the application fee, they will be required to undergo a screening process. The screening process involves verifying the candidates’ academic qualifications and other admission requirements.

Successful candidates will be offered admission into NOUN. Admission letters will be sent to successful candidates via email.
