The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is a renowned institution of higher learning located in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. The university is known for its academic excellence and its commitment to producing graduates who are well-equipped to make a difference in the world.

Every year, thousands of prospective students apply to LAUTECH, hoping to secure a place in one of its prestigious programs. However, only a fraction of these applicants will be successful, as the university has a competitive admissions process.

One of the most important factors that is considered during the admissions process is the applicant’s cut-off mark. The cut-off mark is the minimum score that an applicant must have in order to be considered for admission into a particular program.

The LAUTECH cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session has not yet been released. However, the cut-off mark for the previous academic session (2022/2023) can be used as a guide.

For the 2022/2023 academic session, the LAUTECH cut-off mark for all courses was 180. This means that applicants who scored less than 180 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) were not considered for admission.

The LAUTECH cut-off mark for individual courses may vary depending on the competitiveness of the program. For example, the cut-off mark for Medicine and Surgery is usually higher than the cut-off mark for Education.

How to Calculate Your LAUTECH Cut Off Mark

Your LAUTECH cut-off mark is calculated by adding your UTME score to your weighted average score (WASSCE). The WASSCE is the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

Here is the formula for calculating your LAUTECH cut-off mark:
