The Nnamdi Azikiwe University cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is yet to be released, but it is expected to be similar to that of the previous session. In the 2022/2023 academic session, the general cut-off mark for UNIZIK was 160. However, this may vary depending on the course of study. For example, the cut-off mark for Medicine and Surgery was 240.

To be eligible for admission into UNIZIK, candidates must have at least five (5) credits in their O’level results, including English Language and Mathematics. They must also have a score of at least 160 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Here is a breakdown of the UNIZIK cut-off marks for some of the popular courses of study:

  • Medicine and Surgery: 240
  • Pharmacy: 220
  • Nursing: 200
  • Law: 180
  • Accounting: 170
  • Business Administration: 165
  • Computer Science: 160

Candidates who meet the UNIZIK cut-off mark for their chosen course of study will be invited to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise. The post-UTME screening exercise is a test designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge of the course of study they have applied for.

Candidates who perform well in the post-UTME screening exercise will be offered admission into UNIZIK.
