UNIUYO Cut-Off Mark For 2023/2024

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has released the cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session. The cut-off mark is the minimum score that candidates must obtain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for admission into the university.

UNIUYO JAMB Cut-Off Mark

The UNIUYO JAMB cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 140. This means that candidates who scored 140 and above in the UTME are eligible to apply for admission into the university.

UNIUYO Departmental Cut-Off Marks

In addition to the general JAMB cut-off mark, UNIUYO also has departmental cut-off marks. These are the minimum scores that candidates must obtain in the UTME to be eligible for admission into specific departments. The departmental cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 academic session are as follows:

  • Faculty of Agriculture: 140
  • Faculty of Arts: 140
  • Faculty of Education: 140
  • Faculty of Engineering: 140
  • Faculty of Law: 160
  • Faculty of Management Sciences: 140
  • Faculty of Science: 140
  • Faculty of Social Sciences: 140

How to Apply for Admission to UNIUYO

Candidates who are eligible for admission to UNIUYO will need to apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. The application process is as follows:

  1. Create a JAMB profile.
  2. Purchase and complete the JAMB application form.
  3. Choose UNIUYO as your first choice institution.
  4. Select your preferred course of study.
  5. Upload your O’level results.
  6. Pay the application fee.

UNIUYO Post-UTME Screening

In addition to meeting the JAMB cut-off mark and departmental cut-off mark, candidates will also need to participate in the UNIUYO post-UTME screening exercise. The post-UTME screening is a computer-based test that is used to assess candidates’ suitability for admission into the university.

UNIUYO Admission List

The UNIUYO admission list is usually released a few weeks after the post-UTME screening exercise. Candidates can check their admission status on the UNIUYO portal.
