Douye Diri Early Life

Douye Diri was born on June 9, 1972, in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He is a member of the Ijaw ethnic group. Diri attended Kolokuma/Opokuma Grammar School, Sampou, and proceeded to study Political Science and Public Administration at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
