The Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) has released its departmental cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 academic session. The cut-off marks are the minimum scores that candidates must obtain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the post-UTME screening exercise to be considered for admission into the university.
General Entry Requirements
In addition to the cut-off marks, candidates must also meet the following general entry requirements for admission into DELSU:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) passes at credit level in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the National Examination Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) Advanced Business Certificate Examination (A’ Level).
- Candidates must also have a minimum score of 160 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates must also pass the Delta State University Abraka (DELSU) post-UTME screening exercise.

How to Check Your Admission Status
Candidates can check their admission status on the Delta State University Abraka (DELSU) website. To do this, candidates will need their JAMB registration number and their DELSU screening exercise registration number.
Important Dates
The deadline for the payment of the DELSU acceptance fee is usually two weeks after the release of the admission list. Candidates who fail to pay the acceptance fee by the deadline will forfeit their admission.
