The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is one of the most prestigious universities in Nigeria. Every year, thousands of students apply to UNIPORT in the hopes of securing admission to one of its many undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The university releases its admission list in batches throughout the academic year. The first batch of the admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session was released on September 20, 2023. Subsequent batches are expected to be released in the coming weeks and months.

Once the UNIPORT admission list is released, candidates can check their status on the JAMB CAPS Portal.
Through the UNIPORT Website:** The UNIPORT also publishes its admission list on its official website. Candidates can check their status by entering their registration number on the website.
What to Do If You Have Been Admitted to UNIPORT
If you have been admitted to UNIPORT, congratulations! The next step is to accept your offer of admission and complete the registration process. The registration process can be completed online or in person at the UNIPORT campus.
What to Do If You Have Not Been Admitted to UNIPORT
If you have not been admitted to UNIPORT, do not despair. There are still options available to you. You can reapply to UNIPORT in the next academic year or apply to other universities. You can also consider taking a foundation program or diploma course to improve your chances of gaining admission to UNIPORT in the future.
