If you don’t know, Motorola One is also known as Motorola P30 Play in China, launched back in October 2018. The device came with budget specifications and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One). The handset received the Android 9.0 Pie update last year and currently, a new security patch update started rolling out in Brazil. Motorola One receives February 2020 Patch with a new software version PPKS29.68-16-21-20 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
As the update is rolling out via OTA in a gradual process, it may take a few days to hit the update all units properly. However, you can manually check for OTA updates via the device Settings > System > Advanced > System Updates. If you’re interested in this new update including software version PPKS29.68-16-21-20, then you should check the OTA update on an interval basis to get the update notification.
The February 2020 Android Security Patch brings bug fixes and system security improvements for better user experience & stability. Though Motorola has already pushed the latest Android 10 stable update to its couple of Android One models, the Motorola One device users may have to wait for a while expectedly.
As the Android One program offers two major Android updates and three years of security patch updates, the Motorola One owners don’t need to worry about it. According to the Motorola Brazil on Twitter, there is no official news for the Motorola One Android 10 update yet.
