iPhone SE 2: launch confirmed by Bloomberg in March!

Last night Apple announced that the company will not meet its fiscal quarter targets. The cause? The COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic in China. Nevertheless, Bloomberg confirms that Apple is preparing the launch of “iPhone SE 2” in March.

Already yesterday it had been leaked the news regarding the possible date of the Apple event this spring. The 31 March an event should take place during which we expect the Cupertino company to unveil the new low-cost iPhone with an iPhone 8-like design and renewed hardware.

But that’s not all: Bloomberg also revealed that Apple is also preparing one new version of iPad Pro which should be equipped with a new processor and a triple camera system, just like on the iPhone 11 Pro. The launch of the new iPad Pro should have taken place by the first half of 2020, but the explosion of the coronavirus epidemic “it could cause delays“.

Factories in China are currently working in reduced ranks and for this reason Apple would have decided to stop the production of some devices to focus on certain products. There should be no major problems for the next iPhone 12. For the moment, however, Apple has decided not to send its engineers to China, causing a delay in the validation process of the prototype.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, by the first half of 2020, Apple was expected to release several devices, including iPhone SE 2 / iPhone 9, the new iPad Pro, AirTag, a pad for wireless charging and high-end headphones.

We will only discover the official status of Apple’s spring event over the next few weeks. Are you waiting for the new “cheap” iPhone or the new iPad Pro? Let us know through the comments!
