iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 beta 3: news and availability

Apple’s release schedule is certainly leaving us quite clueless in recent weeks. We were many who expected a new batch of betas for next week, but since the company we have been surprised with the launch of the third beta for developers of iOS 13.4, macOS Catalina 10.15.4, iPadOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2 and tvOS 13.4. In this article we tell you all the news that have been found in these new betas.

What’s new in iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4

If we focus on iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4, these betas are now available for developers although we hope that in the next few hours they will also be available for public beta testers. If you already have the previous beta installed on your mobile, you will simply have to perform a normal update in Settings> General> Software update. If everything is in order here you will get the new beta that you must install and download. Keep in mind that the download time may vary depending on how saturated the Cupertino servers are.

This third beta is limited to include bug fixes and apply security patches by dragging all the news that was seen in the previous betas. As a reminder the news that we could appreciate were the following:

  • Although he is late, the shared folders in iCloud They are already available in this new beta.
  • Universal app purchases, that is, if you buy an app on iOS that is also available on macOS or vice versa, you will no longer have to pay twice.
  • Improvements in Carplay with third-party apps and arrival of Carkey, system that will allow to start a vehicle carrying the Apple Watch or iPhone. In addition we can also share the virtual key of our vehicle with other people.
  • New Memoji

To all these developments it should also be noted that interesting details about the new products and features that the company will present were detected in the code. Among these we can highlight the AirTag or the new Apple TV 4K which are expected to be launched in a hypothetical event in late March or early April.

When will the final versions come out?

After these betas, you’re sure you’re wondering when the final versions will be released so they can be installed by people who are not developers or public beta testers. If everything goes as expected, at the end of March or beginning of April We would have these final versions available coinciding with this hypothetical Apple event. Obviously all are calculations made ‘at the head’ taking into account Apple’s background on software without a specific date for its launch.

If we talk about the rest of the operating systems that have also received the corresponding beta, we observe that there are no significant changes although if something new arises from developers who are already testing the betas we will let you know.

And you, have you tried these new betas? Leave us your comments in the comment box.
